First day of Pre-K!

Ok, I finally have a few pictures to post.  Not only do they show off what a cute kid I have, I crafted the frame and took the pictures too!!  Enjoy!

I  also made a new hair bow that is listed on my etsy, let me know if you want one and want to avoid the etsy fees!

I'm still alive!

I swear, I'm still here!  And I've done a lot of crafts!

But the month of August hasn't been real kind to my little family and we're dealing with a lot of grief and sadness and anger.  I promise to post something soon though. . .

Feeling crafty!

So today I was bit by the crafty bug.  I found a few over sized clothespins at Joann's this week and wanted to dress them up.  I love how they turned out!!!  I'm thinking maybe it will be a teacher's appreciation gift for my son's preschool teacher.

for two!!

Ok, I very soon will have twin nieces!!  I'm so excited, they are the first girls in the family, and finally I get to make girlie stuff!!  I personally have two boys and girly stuff is so much more fun.  Anyways the blankets in the last post were for them and last night I did these for them too!  I love them!!!

Stupid sewing maching....

I've been trying to sew these two blankets for a while now.  I've had some issues with my sewing machine....and I've got that red-headed temper, and lets just say the two do not go well together.  :)

But!  They're finally done!  I love the fabrics and I think they turned out super nice.

up and running.

Ok...time to get this blog up and running, kinda-sorta, again.  I've been taking lots of pictures lately and having a blast with editing them.  Here are some recent ones!
Stay tuned...there will be more.  I've followed Pioneer Woman's lead and given up using the flash on any of my cameras for lent.  Wish me luck...and light!
